Glassing the hull
Posted by TomW on Oct 2, 2004
I am preparing to glass the hull tomorrow depending on the weather. I have a question for all of you veteran builders out there and your your prompt response would be greatly appreciated. Ive sanded everything and I hope to do the final once over with 220 grit before the glass. However I am unsure of how far to go with it. I would love to have a bright finish. There are some discolorations where some epoxy bled through while filleting. Do I have to remove these or will these colors blend in when I fill the glass? They look like what it looks like when you put epoxy over bare wood. Thanks in advance for your input. I really enjoy reading of all your expertise.
