Good info.

Now, here is a weekend brain-teaser for those whose boats are already built and thus have nothing better to do than paddle around torturing nightcrawlers, or accidentally keelhauling innocent surfers at Nag's Head: is it (a) epoxy is really brittle, and that's why we reinforce it with glass? Or (b) glass is really brittle and that's why we reinforce it with epoxy? :-)

Answer on Monday. (That guy who's a physics teacher, are you still out there? Heck, I don't know the answer!)
