Re: Varnish Suggestions
Posted by Gert Walter on Sep 8, 2004
I've been varnishing between trips and seem to be running into sags. I think the varnish is thickening in the can. I am still not sure what "keeping a wet edge means". I never seem to be so slow that I can't tip at least 1/2 a panel when varnished, and it doesn't seem to ruin the coat. Is there really a difference between penetrol and thinner? Thanks, Gert Walter
