Re: Respirators and beard

I have worn a beard since I was 19, until this year and the need to use a respirator for build my canoe. The one I bought would not seal properly with the beard, I could feel air passing through the moistened chops when I inhaled. I could also smell the vinegar, so I knew it wasn't good enuf. It was fun listening to friends and aquaintences guesses as to way I looked different. Didja get new glasses being most common. Like I said I had this beard for 40 yrs. P-) Oh yeah wear eye protection too, they don't grow back. RogerJ
