You can take the boat in to hasten the curing of the top varnish coat. Not a good idea to add more coats until the top one is dry.

For subsequent coats, try adding lacquer thinner to the varnish - maybe 10% by volume if it's humid, 15-20% if it's extremely hot and humid. This will give you thinner, faster-drying varnish that will also flow nicely and minimizes drips and sags. Apply the stuff THIN and fast. Just enough to cover the entire surface.

Use your respirator, gloves and ventilate well if you're using lacquer thinner.
