Decks on

Posted by FrankP on Jul 13, 2004

Okay, I found some rice paper (designs being printed today) and got my foredeck on successfully (mostly). I do have a couple of short sections that have gaps I'll need to fill with some epoxy.

I also trimmed the deck but in doing so I cut into the hull glass and wood a little bit. It will be covered by the glass overlap from the decks when I install that, but will that be enough? I think the section is about 6 inches long and maybe 1/4 inch wide and is actually still attached to the hull, and can be laid back in. I'm hoping that the combination of glass overlap and epoxy at the rail will be sufficient for covering any errors there.

Anyone have any ideas about this.
