Bulkhead space to hull...

Ok, another fork in the road before I continue. I have placed both bulkheads according to the plans. They fit nice and snug, but there is a bit of space from the bottom of the bulkhead to the hull. The aft bulkhead is worst running at 1/2 inch, the for is running about 1/3 inch to the hull.

How would I go about fixing this to ensure a closer space before I start sealing?
