That's the beginnings of a Guillemot in that last pic.

This thread is about kayak storage, so to stay on topic allow me to share my NEW wall rack with y'll (pic below).

An 8' high wall can easily fit up to 4 boats but I opted for 3 boats at convenient heights with storage above and below. The brackets are from Home Depot, rated for 50 pounds each. Carpet scraps cover the 2x4s that are screwed in the the walls.

The boats on that rack are, from top to bottom, a Night Heron (designed by Guillemot Kayaks), an Expedition Sport (design by One Ocean Kayaks) and a Spring Run (Design by Redfish Kayaks).
