Re: Non gloss finish

I brought this up a while back and someone suggested using a new Flattening Agent from Interlux. Yesterday, I went over to Waste Marine and discovered that they have two types, one for one-part finishes (paint or varnish) and another for two-part finishes.

The degree of "flattening" is determined by the ratio of finish to Flattening Agent you use, and the number of coats of flattened fisnishes you apply. They recommend applying the usual number of non-flattened finish coats first, then apply coats of flattened finish (ex: 3 coats of non-flattened Brightsides and 1 coat of Flattened Brightsides)
