Re: Grey Owl Tempest Padd

I have 3 Tempest paddles. Two long ones for the double and a shorter one for my WR-180.
I have no complaints after nearly 6 years of rough use. I did break one during a rescue session.
It snapped straight across the grain at the furrel. Almost as clean as cutting it with a saw. Which I thought was rather unusual and Grey Owl agreed. They treated me great and replaced it free of charge. They were wonderful.
Now I paddle almost exclusivly with a Greenland style paddle so my beloved Grey Owl is now stuck on the back deck as a spare.
If I remember right "Seakayer" Magazine did a review a few years back that was quite favorable.
