look at the contour on the hips/back of that Redfish seat. That is where the fat/muscle of your butt supports your spine. Also the thigh support extending forward on the sides and the slight rise of the seat in the middle supports your legs when leaning. The significance of that support is noticable because there's a reduction of point pressure on your knees/thighs for a given amount of lean. In other words you can actually fine tune your steering with slight degrees of lean,,which is hard to do with vertical hip plates and flat seats where more pressure is put into the knees/thighs.
