Thanks for the location. I am not worried about comming up with a peice of 3/4 x 3/4 stock, my scrap bin is full of them waiting to be flung into the wood fired furnace next time it needs some kindling. If it stays as cold as it has been here in central MN I will not need much kindling.
Your plans do kind of gloss over this part of the build. I assembled the seat while waiting for the responses. This boat is mainly for my 5'4" 115 pound wife, but I would like to wedge my 6'4" 250 pound bulk into it from time to time. Is this seat sturdy enough for me? should I coat the entire seat with epoxy?
