I want to put in a few good words on Mill Creek's wooden seat. It looks absolutely beautiful in the boat, like a miniature Adirondack chair. But some folks seem to think it's uncomfortable. I don't agree. I like it's adjustable back. AND I like the way I can shift it forward or back at will. I just set it over the cleats, which are fastened to the boat's bottom and allow a controlled slide fore or aft when I unweight the seat. It won't move when my wife (it's her boat) or I paddle the boat. This came as a bit of a surprise; I thought I'd have to come up with some hardware to lock it in place. Nope. Works fine.
