Some may not realize that regular boat trailers will work. Mine was about $125. I recently put on new rollers and bunk carpet on the trailer for my 17' NE Dory. So cost is still under $200. Check Craigslist maybe. I just searched for my local and there is a nice galvanized trailer for $450 that will fit my boat. Make sure about registration for used trailers. Little harder to register for trailers with no title available.
I made a cover using WeatherMax80, lifetime thread, cinch line, grommets. Factory 2nds 8yards was about $40 WeatherMax80, $140 for thread.
I actually purchased all the material I could WeatherMax80 for boat covers and seat covers when I saw how cheap the imperfect material was.
