Belated pics of my first build
I never did get around to posting a pic of my Chesapeake17. I finished it in 2004 and paddled it regularly up until last year when i crossedover to ocean skis. I've also built a Ch17 hybrid and am halway through a oneocean cirrus hybrid.

Craig,
I am about to attempt my first build and had decided on a CLC 17 or 18. I am probably the most untalented handyman that you have ever met. I decided on the CLC design over the Cirrus as it looks a bit more complex and I need to hone my skills a bit.
I would be interested to know your views on each design, and their peculiarities.
I live in Nambour. Do you mind if I keep in touch. I know I will need a lot of guideance.
