Fun with my tiller

I put a set of Turks head knots on my NE For us tiller.

I tried to use a hemp twine, I wanted the more traditional look. But I couldn't see the pattern as well.

That's very cool!  Did you use animatedknots.com?  I've had a turk's head on my wrist since 1982 when I got off the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyworld.  There was a guy working there that tied them on the wrists of kids as we walked by.  I once made 30 turk's heads as coasters/giveaways for my yacht club.

I actually used a YouTube Video. I had purchased a book on knots. But I was unable to follow its directions. I found directions on YouTube that were pretty clear!

I sure wish this site had the ability to edit and correct your post. I just noticed that my spell checker changed Dory to “for Us”.
