Dreaming of Summer Sailing - 2008 Small Reach Regatta
All this fresh March snow has me longing for the carefree days of summer on the Maine Coast. Here is a short video/slideshow I recently posted on YouTube of the 2008 WoodenBoat Small Reach Regatta in Brooklin Maine. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OsrM9bvmtK8 This will have to suffice for now. Then we can look forward to CLC's OkoumeFest, The WoodenBoat Show at Mystic, and this year's Small Reach. Woo-Hoo! Ron

Hello Ron, I want to build a Jimmy skiff too, but I have no experience building boats, I want to know if I can contact you to ask some questions about the materials I need, I live in Mexico and some of the materials suggested by CLC are not availabla here. Thank you very much. Andres

Hi Andres, You can contact me at rparo@hannaford.com. I found that this forum, and the WoodenBoat forum http://forum.woodenboat.com/ are great places to post questions. You can also contact CLC at http://www.clcboats.com/forms/contact_us.html. They are a great resource. See my building blog at www.jimmyskiff.blogspot.com I will be taking my Jimmy Skiff to the WoodenBoat Small Reach Regatta again this summer. There are four CLC boats (out of 70) registered this year!
