WD10 stitching hull and deck together tip

This is my first stitch and glue boat so I am sure others have thought of this, but I found stitching the two pieces (deck/hull) together was really easy if I lined the two up and drilled a 1/16th hole straight up and down through both pieces. Then you can push the wire straight through instead of using the wood strip to seperate the two pieces and try to get the wires through. I didn't do them all at once, just one at a time while I lined them up. It created maybe just a slightly bigger hole/mark on the wood. I am going to paint mine though so it won't matter. Just thought I would share if it might help someone.
