If you pre-epoxy the joints all you are doing is adding weight. Epoxy is very HEAVY. Squeegee where ever possible & then un-roll a roll of T.P. to soak up as much epoxy as you can. (2 ft at a time). Just fill the weave and don't leave any epoxy puddles. DON'T ever build a kayak to survive a fall off a car-top.
