Skerry sailing conditions
Posted by Wilke Nelson on Mar 29, 2007
I am anxiously awaiting this coming Sunday as I will be breaking my Skerry out of its winter storage to take it sailing. But I have a question for any small boat sailers more experienced than I. The long-range forecast calls for sustained winds on Sunday on the Chesapeake of about 9 knots. How can I expect the boat to perform in those conditions? Is the wind too light to make it worth it at 9 knots?
Thanks in advance for any and all advice.
