I was at a meeting of the Experimental Yacht Society in St Pete Florida. Sitting around an after dinner chat one evening with Jim Brown, Meade Gougeon and several other mega hitters , along with a bunch of us peons talking boatbuilding.
Meade Gougeon was telling about have recently experienced a builder up in the NW who absolutely COULD NOT get epoxy to cure properly. This was a BIG boat using lots of epoxy, (like drums worth) so Meade flew out.
The guy had a really nice tent built around his boat, with a couple of BIG kerosene heaters pumping out hot air.
And moisture.
They switched him over to a couple of electric heaters- Problem solved.
