Thanks Rand. I was trying to think of a way to do that. I have seen something simular and it did look good. So far sanding scraping and lacquer thinner seem to be getting most of it off. Solvent proof gloves, resperator and eye protection of course, the work pulled out side the garage to vent the fumes. I am taking today off from work on the canoe nad the job and going to visit Mom.
