Joe,

I experienced the same situation after rolling on my fill coats. I am happy to report that the orange peel effect can be easily removed with a ROS and lots of time.

The other approach that has been discussed is applying the fill coats on in a smoother fashion up front. There are several approachs that have been discussed in way too much detail on this board. There is the Kurt super smooth approach that relies on the squeege and sanding on each fill coat. Or the simple roll it on and tip it with a foam brush approach.

As for my self I love the sight of a cloud of epoxy dust and the sound of my ROS humming the first thing in the morning so that's my approach.
