rounding over for glassin
Posted by Mischa on May 6, 2004
Im preparing to glass the bottom of the hull and I have a few questions about the steps leading up to this:
1. Should I fill in the small v shaped void between the panels on the outside of the craft that is formed by the edges of the ply wood? Or is this unnecessary since Im going to be rounding over the chines? 2. Whats the best tool to use for rounding over the chines on a hard chined boat: hand sanding, a random orbital sander, a spook shave?
