18 gauge Annealed wire. Comes in 50' rolls, instead of our normal 25' copper rolls. This wire is slightly tougher than our copper wire, but is still soft enough and easily pliable for Stitch and Glue Boatbuilding construction. It can also be used for control panels, low voltage circuits in automobiles, boats, trucks, RV's, trailers, sculpture and jewelry making, as well as other projects. It is ideal for stitching together thicker plywood applications, without sacrificing flexibility and strength. It is low-carbon steel wire that has been annealed to increase its ductility and decrease its hardness. These qualities result in higher flexibility without the loss of durability, which combined, allow the wire to demonstrate self-tying and self-locking capabilities.
