sheer clamps

I'm just glueing up sheer clamps for a clc 17'kayak. can both the left and right clamps be glued up at the same time,if so how? and is it best to stack the scarfs on top of each other and clamp downward while glueing or have clamps on side and glues together "sideways"? thanks. You all have been tremendously helpful with questions I have posted here!
