How much paper you use depends on how many times you need to sand. Sand paper gets dull after use so as you sand, you will notice that you see less dust as you go. Once the grit on the paper gets dull, it will take longer and longer to sand. A good idea is to use a cabinet scraper to remove the worst drips and bumps in the epoxy. The scraper will save you time and sandpaper, not to metion help you maintain your wits as you work.
