Please Shoot Me

A week or so ago I said I was gonna start building my stupid canoe because the rain stopped long enough to give me haffa chance. And so it did. For a little while, anyway. I got as far as the picture below, then haven't been able to do anything for the past two days, which is like two months to any sane builder. Or was that an oxymoron? Maybe I shoulda just said ' to anybody else.'

Anyway, it's raining pitchforks and haybabies, as the old-timers say, once again and it's forecast to do more of the same for the next couple daze. Jumpin jiminy, it's been a friggin monsoon since MAY around here!
