There was this guy,see? His name was Chris Kulczycki. He did a bunch of how-to books and there were plans for two styles of quickie kayak paddles in them. They are so simple all you would have to do is look at the pictures to figure them out. The shafts were 1�" wooden closet poles that can be had at any home center. The blades were �" plywood. You have to cut a �" slot in each end of the pole. How you do it is up to you. The blade shape is up to you. The length is up to you. It looks better if you taper the sections of the pole that are glued to the blade. If figuring everything out is too much for you, you can always buy Chris's Kulczycki's book.
