Eric,

If you built it, you can repair it. The only question is how visible will the repair be. For advice from the peanut gallery, a picture would help.

If the wood has not actually broken or changed shape, you should be able to just sand things down to clean epoxy and put a glass cloth patch inside and out. If there actually is a break, you can either cut away the damaged wood and patch in a new piece, or you could maybe push the pieces back where they belong and glue them in place with thickened epoxy. Glass patches afterwards in all cases.
