Tom,

I just recently completed my Chesapeake 18 which I purchased in Nov. 1997.

I had initially put the hull together and glassed it and that's where it sat for the next 9 years.

I had no problems with the wood from my deck and coaming (was kept in controlled environment).

Since my epoxy was opened initially and I had just left it with the pumps in it I just wrote that off and purchased new epoxy.

Best of luck getting the boat complete.
