I hauled a 17' kayak 1,300 miles on top of my RV, through rain and wind on the interstate highways and I had no movement. Drilling holes into a new roof is not an option for me.(NO WAY JOSE') I found this product on an internet search. I believe in "Murphys' Law" big time. So I was using 3 extra tie down straps as a back up. I have no problems using this again on the highway.
