Re: What kind of plywood?

Thank you to Mic, Mac, Moe and the rest of you - I really learned a lot about plywood for boatbuilding! I choosed to listen to the vast majority and bought Bruynzeel Okume plywood at West System Norge, Oslo (NKR 650 pr. sheet in 4 mm, that will be about 100 USD). But still - if I ever build a second (or third..) kayak, I might be a bit more experimental and try a more local kind of wood/ plywood. Im aware of the fact that birch exposed to water will rot, but it is the only plywood Ive found made of Nordic wood without a lot lower quality on the backside.
