I also recomend the Garmin GPS Map 76. It is more waterproof than other "waterproof" units, it ploats, and the screen is a good size for easy reading. There are smaller cheaper units, but after asking about them on other forums, I steared away from them. I found the best prices at http://www.gpsdiscounts.com/
