Wow, Mr. CLC himself going all the way out to Monterey to personally inspect your "leaky" hatches. That's like all the way across the US of A. I bet he didn't even charge you a cent for checking it out and fixing your problem. Gotta wonder with tech support like that, how can they afford to sell kits so reasonably priced? You'll never get tech support that good from anyone else.
