Has anyone used black electrical (vinyl) tape? I've completed my third kayak with it and had no problems with creep-under etc. I was also able to leave it on for 4 graphite/epoxy bottom coats(about 3 days). Must admit I haven't used it for paint-to-varnish masking (I tend to prefer bright finishes). I also found that the tape could form tighter curves than 3M Green or Blue.

Thoughts?
