Deck lines

Hi,

Looking at fitting deck lines for use in deep water rescues (fitted to sea kayaks purchased over here in the UK). It doesn't show them fitted on the plans for our Chesapeake 16 and 17. Has anyone fitted them, if so did you fit hard points to take the extra load on the fixing when performing a rescue or getting back into the boat after a wet exit. Thought about doubling up the deck thickness locally to the fixing, any thoughts?
