I will never forget the first thing that went through my head when I laid out the parts for my first boat. "Why didn't I just buy a couple of these!" Over 30 years of woodworking and I was intimidated. Three boats and a paddleboard later I can't wait to get started on the next boat! You'll find this is one of the most addictive hobbies you'll ever do, Fred!
Oh, I use plywood bulkheads in all my boats. And I'm a chemist by trade.
