Also, be sure to read your license or check with CLC re any royalties that may be due for additional builds of your particular boat design.

Example: The license rights for my CLC boat are printed on page 1 of the drawings:

"The purchase of plans or kit grants the right to build only one boat".

It then gives the fee for additional builds. I can't make it out but it looks like either ten or forty dollars per boat, which is to me a huge bargain considering the work, expertise, etc. that went into the design.
