trim after the first coat is a bit green...if you do it on the early side of green it is better becuase you can pat down the edge that is staying on the boat.

trim with a sharp razor into the green glass, you can make an angled cut where the blade of the razor almost follow the angle of the hull...which will minimize the work you will need to do on the sides of the hull to fair the deck cloth in.
