Re: Wet seat

You've bumped up against something that everyone else does, it just doesn't seem right to glue down a hollow water trapping chunk of minicell. If there's plenty of fill coats under the seat it's not a practical problem and even if there was a thin fill coat with water steaming into the wood leaving a dark stain on the other side it wouldn't have structural repercussions. A seat carved from minicell can be made in such a way that it's notched between the hip plates with hip braces preventing it's easy removal and a couple patches of velcro at the front to prevent it from pulling up. Leaving you the option of storing it loose, removing it, etc.
