Re: chopped fiber
Posted by Mislav on Jul 23, 2005
Somewhere about the half of the building process I started to add chopped fiberglass into wood floor thickened epoxy for structural joints. First I thick with wood floor to a thinner than mayonnaise paste, then I add fibers. After it cures it's harder than the stone. Still sands easily (like fiberglass cloth does, as we all know). I cut fibers to approximately 1/16" length from fiberglass cloth scrap with kevlar scissors but any better scissors will do.
