I think a most important consideration is the size of the load. If it's small enough and you can keep it low you should be able to carry any weight up to capacity. For example, a 100# bag of sand on the back deck should be no problem. It's small and low. It would work better in the cargo space but still should work. A hundred pound load the size of a refrigerator box ain't gonna work no how. It it was small enough I'd slip it into the cockpit if it left enough room for legs and feet. After all, I habitually carry a hundred more pounds in my C17 cockpit than you do. Although mine is all centered directly over the seat.
