Speaking of Velcro

All,

I'm having a Dickens of a time getting the sticky backing of Honest-to-God real Velcro to stick to the minicell of my carved seat.

Sure sticks to the varnish on the cockpit floor with prob!

Do I resort to contact cement, scilicon,??
