Tapin' It Up

Just did the rear deck on by Chesapeake 16 last night and after seeing the effort my flatmate went through with screwing down the deck while the epoxy was curing on his Yare I though i'd try something simpler (see attached image).

It really looks like it been bandaged up :), I used some cloth type gaffer (non-strechy) and it seems to have pulled it down to the edges nicely. I'll know for sure once i've planed down the edges but it was a lot easier to do (as long as you have a couple of people helping you get it on).
