bad epoxy mix

I was tring to apply a spot coat of expoxy to a couple of small depressions in the hull and stupidly tried to save on epoxy by eyeballing a 2:1 ratio. Now I've got goo that won't cure. Can I wipe this off with acetone, or will acetone damage the cured epoxy layers under the goo?
