Early Resolution
Posted by terry on Dec 23, 2004
Well, it's not even Christmas (a merry one to all of you, by the way), and I am already thinking of New Year's resolutions. Actually, the resolution I'm thinking of was originally planned for last year, but, being lazier than Santa's dietician, I'm just now getting around to it.
The resolution is to organize us lazy folks to demand our rights and win the repect we barely deserve. Specifically, I propose the perjorative terms "lazy person," "milker," "slug," "goldbrick," and other such negative, if earned, monikers be considered non-PC and dropped from normal discourse, to be replaced by kinder, gentler terms like "energy-conserving," and "inertially challenged."
I could probably think of more nice things to call my pathologicaly lackadaisical self and my like-minded friends, but I just can't summon the energy to write them down.
So I'll just leave it at this:
Happy Holidays! Happy Paddling!
