Waz, carbon fiber is very stiff when reinforced with epoxy. I fished a couple of loose strands or bundles of cf from some work I had been doing, one bunch was stiff enough to make a light weight spring, the other was as sharp as a needle. Both were brittle, they flex just so much then SNAP. The carbon fiber weave looks good if you get it oriented correctly and stiff light weight parts are made from it,but these folks have been building 'yaks for a long time. Small custom touches could be laminated from cf tho'. RogerJ
