Removing paint and primer

I'd like to know if anyone has had any luck going from a painted hull to natural. My 17's hull is currently covered with Brightside's fire red polyurethane over Interlux Pre-Kote primer. I'm not as concerned about the paint as I am the primer. Is there a solvent or other solution that would help in the nooks and crannys? Any help would be appreciated.
