Kayak cover (whole boat)

This is refering to the Kayak cover topic. I need a cover for the whole boat when traveling by car. I found a women in Maine on the net who makes custom ones to fit. It's a nice product but her starting price is 350$. That's a little pricey. That's half the price of another boat kit! I then looked on ebay for Sunbrella material and it is readily available at different sizes, colors, and prices. So I think I'll design my own.
